("DIX" or the "Company") (TSXV:DIX) announced today that, the Company has, effective October 29, 2009, received authorization from the Registrar of Companies of British Columbia, and the TSX Venture Exchange to effect a continuation of the Company from Ontario to British Columbia, and to change the name of the Company from Diamond Exploration Inc. to DIAMOND INTERNATIONAL EXPLORATION INC. The continuation and name change are effective October 29, 2009.

The trading symbol of the Company "DIX" has not changed.

At a special and general annual meeting of shareholders of the Company held on September 4, 2009, the shareholders of the Company approved each of the resolutions which were set forth in the circular that was filed on July 30, 2009 on SEDAR (www.sedar.com) including those resolutions to continue the company into British Columbia, and alter the company's name, articles and by-laws.
