iConclude, the leader in Run Book Automation solutions for IT operations, today announced that Transporeon, a leading provider of e-Logistics solutions in Europe, has deployed iConclude Repair System(TM) to automate proactive monitoring, incident management and maintenance tasks in the enterprise data center, ensuring a smooth and efficient shipping process for thousands of customers across Europe.
Transporeon's IT Infrastructure Group has deployed iConclude Repair System to automate manual data center operations and drive a more proactive incident management process. Transporeon's main solution is the TISYS communication platform, an e-logistics platform that creates networks between major shippers and their carrier partners. TISYS supports the key shipping needs for many large European firms which include electronic freight order assignment, time slot management, tracking, tracing and freight controlling. TISYS is a highly sophisticated and complex application with many custom connector and extensions. iConclude Repair System is the new foundation for Transporeon's streamlined IT infrastructure processes, automating the majority of all IT operations related to supporting TISYS and ensuring the highest level of performance and customer satisfaction.
Axel Busch, director of IT at Transporeon, said, "Transporeon is all about helping our customers streamline logistics processes and reduce costs. So we're very excited to apply the same principles in our IT operations area by leveraging iConclude's Run Book Automation solution to drive efficiencies and increase our competitiveness."
"iConclude Repair System is such a versatile tool, you almost come up with new ideas daily on how it can help your company streamline its IT processes. Since our deployment, we have seen increased visibility and transparency, compared to the old ways of relying on scripting or cron-jobs. This has resulted in much higher levels of accountability, responsibility, and awareness of what's going on in our environment, and a feeling of security and 'being in control'." Busch continues, "Furthermore, due to the high level of flexibility and reusability that iConclude Repair System provides, new control and resolution processes can be implemented much more efficiently. iConclude Repair System has been a great success for Transporeon, we're estimating a 150 percent return on investment by December."
"Transporeon's success strongly demonstrates the value of Run Book Automation for IT organizations of any size. Our solution is unique in its ability to help customers reduce cost and drive productivity," said Sunny Gupta, chief executive officer for iConclude. "Europe is leading the wave in terms of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) adoption. I'm confident our unique solution for automating ITIL processes and increasing ITIL visibility will deliver continued success in the European market."
