Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has decided to expand its Claycomo Assembly Plant in Kansas.
As a part of the move, the US based auto maker giant Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has begun the construction of a $1.1 billion facility at the plant.
The expansion will include construction of a 450,000-square-foot integrated stamping plant, performing renovations and additions to the existing paint shop, performing facility upgrades and the addition of new tooling equipment in the final assembly area for production of Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F)’s Transit commercial van and the next-generation F-150 pickup.
