Glencore Could Halt Xstrata Merger Over Shareholders' Higher Premium Demands -FT

Glencore International PLC (GLEN.LN) would be willing to drop its proposed merger with Xstrata PLC (XTA.LN) if an Xstrata shareholder group that includes the Qatari sovereign wealth fund continues to demand a higher premium, the Financial Times reported Wednesday.
