Newmont CEO: Conditions Not There for Peru's Minas Conga to Proceed

LIMA, Peru--The conditions to allow U.S.-based Newmont Mining Corp.(NEM) to move ahead with the $5.0 billion Minas Conga copper and gold project don't currently exist, the company's Chief Executive Richard O'Brien said.
