Sunrise Senior Living To Be Acquired

Health Care REIT Inc. (NYSE: HCN) will acquire Sunrise Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: SRZ) in a deal valued at approximately $1.9 billion including the assumption of debt. Shares of Health Care tumbled $2.05 to $57.70 while Sunrise Senior Living stock jumped $5.27 to $14.20.
