William A. Houlihan Joins UBS as Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Banking Group

UBS announced today that William A. Houlihan has joined UBS as a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) within UBS Investment Bank. Houlihan is based in New York and reports to Oliver Sarkozy, Joint Global Head of FIG Investment Banking.

Houlihan, 52, has previously held senior roles in financial institutions groups at major investment banks, as well as chief financial officer (CFO) positions at financial services companies. Most recently, he was CFO of Sedgwick Claims Management Services, a provider of claims and productivity management solutions. Houlihan has also served as CFO for both Metris Companies and Hudson United Bancorp. He previously held Managing Director positions in the Financial Institutions Groups at JPMorgan Chase; Keefe, Bruyette & Woods; and Bear Stearns.

Houlihan earned his B.S. in accounting from Manhattan College and his M.B.A. in Finance from New York University Graduate School of Business.
