Stocks slid to their lowest levels in three years. Traders feared not even the most sweeping financial system bailout in more than 70 years will cure banking system and economic ills. Crude oil ended down 12% for the week at $93.88 a barrel. Wachovia agreed to sell itself to Wells-Fargo. But Citigroup said it sill has rights to Wachovia's banking operations.
