Vector Group (VGR): “You’re fine. You have yield and yield works. I like Philip Morris International(PM) more though.”

Inergy LP (NRGY): “I’ve turned sour on propane. It’s viciously competitive.”

Kinder Morgan Management (KMR): “They have very good growth, I’ll endorse it for an IRA.”

Altria (MO): “I’d like it to come down to where it yields 6%, but I like the company. Just don’t buy it on the spike.”

McCormick (MKC): “People who didn’t like the quarter don’t know what they’re talking about. This is a steady grower, I like it.”

Frontier Communications (FTR): “The company said they’ll make the dividend. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say you can own that.”

Pitney Bowes (PBI): “This company has told us the dividend is fine. I think they’re OK.”

Annaly Capital (NLY): “That’s not tough to recommend. People are worried: That’s a misdirection. I think Annaly is for real.”
