“I Am a Tree” by Louise Hill Moore provides young readers with a unique look at the world through the eyes of a tree
PR NewsChannel KNOXVILLE, Tenn.
In the children’s book “I Am a Tree” (ISBN 1475299826), Louise Hill Moore gives young readers a fresh perspective on the environment. Rather than showing how humans view nature like trees, plants and animals, Moore tells the story from the perspective of a tree.
This whimsical children’s story follows the life of a tree, starting off with him as a small sapling living in a forest. The tree shares the things he sees as a younger, smaller tree, including the animals that play around him and what it is like to live in the forest. As he grows, he gets to experience different seasons and settings as the environment he lives in slowly transforms into a city.
Over the course of “I Am a Tree,” the tree grows to be over 100 years old. As a tall tree with big, strong limbs, he shares his story and experiences with pride.
“As a mother and grandmother, I have always enjoyed reading and want to inspire children to read,” says Moore. “Each book I write contains lessons that I want my young readers to take with them in life. ‘I Am a Tree’ highlights the beauty of the tree and all the benefits this tree and every tree provides to animals and people.”
Touching on the seasons and the benefits of the environment, Moore’s “I Am a Tree” teaches young readers important lessons while entertaining them with the life story of a tree. She hopes that her book inspires a love of nature as well as reading.
“I Am a Tree” is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
