Gardner Denver Receives Takeover Offer From KKR (GDI, KKR)

Investment firm, KKR & Co. L.P(KKR) makes offer on Thursday to acquire compressor and vacuum company, Gardner Denver, Inc.(GDI).

The firm offered $75 per share for the company which was valued at approximately $3.68 billion. KKR was the only remaining bidder for the company after potential buyers decided to pass on the company.

Previously, a joint offer from Onex Corp. and TPG Capital and another offer from Advent International Corp. were
dismissed because the firms needed additional time to analyze the company.

Gardner Denver shares were up $2.48, or 3.68% during Friday morning trading. The stock has been mostly flat in the past year.
