State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), the investment management arm of State Street Corporation (STT), and largest institutional fund manager in the world¹, today announced it will transfer 76 exchange traded funds (ETFs) managed by SSgA Funds Management, Inc. from NYSE Alternext US (formerly the American Stock Exchange) to the NYSE Arca listing and trading platform on November 7, 2008. The move of the SPDR ETFs comes as a result of the completed acquisition of the American Stock Exchange by NYSE Euronext.

Three SPDR ETFs: SPDR Gold Shares (GLD), the first US commodity-based exchange traded security and one of the fastest growing exchange traded products; SPDR DJ EURO STOXX 50 ETF (FEZ); and SPDR DJ STOXX 50 ETF (FEU), are currently listed on NYSE Arca.
