SUGAR LAND--November 24, 2009--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Summer Nuclear Power Station, located in Jenkinsville, South Carolina, and owned by Scana Corporation (NYSE:SCG) (Columbia, South Carolina) was brought offline October 16, when the plant's 966-megawatt (MW) Unit 01 was scheduled for a refuel outage. Officials have said that a problem was discovered that will extend the unit's outage.
